Patrick Powell the businessman charged with murder for the shooting death of Kingston College student Khajeel Mais is to be tried in the Home Circuit Court next year February.
The trial, which is set to run for three weeks, is scheduled to start on February 18.
The date was set when Powell appeared in court today. Powell’s bail has been extended.
Mais, 17, was shot and killed after the taxi in which he was travelling was reportedly fired on by the driver of a BMX X6 luxury vehicle following a minor accident in Havendale, St Andrew last year.
